Terms of Use
Effective date: October 21, 2026 Operator: Veilo Contact: support@veiloapp.com
1. Your agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Veilo app and our support and policy website. By creating an account or using Veilo, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Veilo.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must also comply with the laws that apply to your use of Veilo.
2. Your account
Use accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate others, access another person's account, or interfere with the service.
3. Your collection and content
Veilo lets you photograph or import things and people, create cutouts and standees, and arrange them in cabinets. You retain your rights to your photos, notes and other content. You give Veilo only the permission needed to process that content to provide the features you use, including storing an uploaded profile avatar or handling content you submit to an online feature or support.
Only use content you are entitled to use. Respect other people's privacy, likeness and intellectual property rights, especially when a group photo includes people you did not select. Do not use Veilo for unlawful, abusive, exploitative or infringing content; distribute malware; bypass security controls; or disrupt our systems.
4. Local storage and exports
Your cabinet collection is stored on your device. Signing in does not provide cloud synchronization or recovery of that collection. Signing out keeps the collection on that device, where it becomes available when you sign back into the same account. Deleting the app, losing the device or deleting the account may permanently remove local content.
Me > Backup > Export ZIP exports collection data and media, including the stored original photos. The ZIP is not encrypted. Group-photo originals can include people you did not select. Keep exports private and secure. The current app has no ZIP import or restore feature; an export is an archive of your files, not a promise of in-app recovery.
5. Online features and third parties
Some features require a network connection and may display web content or use third-party services, such as Apple sign-in, notifications, hosting and payment processing. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Review them before providing information or completing a transaction. Availability can vary by device, region and service configuration.
If a feature offers a paid transaction, the price, seller, billing terms and any cancellation or refund terms must be shown in the relevant purchase flow. These Terms do not waive mandatory consumer rights. Contact support if you need help identifying a transaction.
6. The app and permitted use
Veilo grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app-store usage rules. Veilo and its licensors retain rights in the app, branding, design and software. Third-party fonts and data remain subject to their own licenses, available in Me > About. Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app except where applicable law permits it.
7. Deleting an account and ending use
You can stop using Veilo at any time. To request account deletion in the app, open Me > Delete Account and complete both confirmations. After the server confirms deletion, the app removes the signed-in account's collection from that device. This cannot be undone in the app. Copies you previously exported or shared, photos saved to your photo library, and copies on other devices are not removed by this action. See the Privacy Policy for retention and privacy requests. If you cannot sign in, contact support@veiloapp.com.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats or legal obligations. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us about the restriction.
8. Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Veilo available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free cutouts, or recovery of lost content. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without additional warranties. You are responsible for reviewing your collection and keeping any copies you need.
To the extent permitted by law, Veilo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights, including rights concerning fraud, intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
9. Updates and contact
We may update the app and these Terms. Revised Terms will show a new effective date and be made available in the app and on our website. We will provide additional notice or seek agreement where required by law. Changes do not remove rights that already arose under applicable law.
For questions, complaints or support, contact Veilo at support@veiloapp.com. Mandatory laws and consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply.
